Run for Órla
Run for Órla is an inaugural community event on 15 November 2026 at Scarborough Beach Park, Landsborough Ave, QLD 4020. The event is presented as a family fun day and waterfront fun run held in memory of a young girl named Órla. It aims to raise awareness of childhood cancer and to stand alongside families affected by similar experiences.
The event offers two distance options and sets minimum age guidelines for one distance:
- 10km Run minimum age 12 years
- 3km Fun Run / Walk open to all ages
Entry fees vary by registration period. For the 10km run the listed fees are $55 early bird, $60 standard, and $65 late. For the 3km fun run the listed fees are $30 early bird, $35 standard, and $40 late. Registrations close on 14 November 2026 at 05:00 PM AEST. Online entries include a payment processing fee applied at checkout. Participants under 11 years must run with a responsible adult who is also registered in the event.
