About the race
The Run For Ollie is the ninth edition of an annual community 5K held in Chanute, Kansas on 26 September 2026. The start and finish are located at the intersection of Main and Lincoln. The event will take place as part of Artist Alley morning. Registration opens on 1 August 2026 and closes on 23 September 2026.
The registration fee is $30. Entrants who register by 6 September 2026 are guaranteed a shirt. Organizers will be set up early for pre-race shirt pickup; shirts are also available after the race. Parking off Main will be available, though access across the road may be blocked.
The race is not professionally timed. Prizes will be awarded to the top female and top male finishers. Water and snacks will be provided after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
