PHM Run for the Residents
The event takes place on October 3, 2026 at 9 Butternut Lane, Markham. It is a fundraising run for Participation House Markham, a Markham based charity that has provided assisted living supports to adults with complex disabilities for over 50 years.
Two route options are offered:
- Half-marathon equivalent visiting seven PHM group homes
- 6 km loop
The half-marathon equivalent begins at Butternut Manor and finishes at Frances Di Carlo House, stopping at all seven PHM group homes and community locations along the way. Participants may run, walk, or roll alongside the organization's executive director.
Registration and fundraising details: The registration deadline is August 31, 2026. The half-marathon category is listed as sold out. The 6 km loop shows 40 spots remaining. Registration was listed as free between May 1 and August 31. Fundraising targets are CA$500 for the half-marathon and CA$250 for the 6 km loop, with best efforts accepted over CA$100.
