PHM Run for the Residents
Participation House Markham is holding a fundraising run at 9 Butternut Lane, Markham, ON L3P 3M1, Canada on October 3, 2026. The Executive Director will complete a route equivalent to a half marathon that starts at Butternut Manor and finishes at Frances Di Carlo House, stopping at all seven PHM group homes and community locations along the way.
The event offers two participation options:
- Half marathon
- 6 km loop
Registration is free for both options from May 1 to July 31, 2026. Fundraising targets are CA$500 for the half marathon and CA$250 for the 6 km loop; best efforts over CA$100 are accepted. The registration deadline is July 31, 2026. Course maps are provided for each route.
Proceeds support Participation House Markham, an organization that provides assisted living supports to adults with complex disabilities. To date CA$23,170.51 has been raised toward a CA$30,000.00 goal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
