Event Overview
Run for His Glory is a community athletic event held in Howell, Michigan, designed to bring together participants from across Livingston County. The event supports Love INC and local student athletes. The course is professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and is characterized by few elevation changes, resulting in a mostly flat and fast route.
The event offers several participation options covering a 3.1 mile distance:
- 5k Run/Walk: Includes a T-shirt and finishers medal for those who pre-register.
- 5K Run/Walk - LITE: A timed event with a race bib but without a T-shirt or medal.
- Virtual 5k Run/Walk: A remote participation option where the T-shirt and medal are mailed to the registrant.
Participation Details
The event is open to participants of all ages and abilities. For safety reasons, dogs and other pets are not permitted on the course. Participants with strollers are permitted to take part and are asked to position themselves at the back of the starting line. Cross country teams may use the race as a pre-season time trial.
Features and Awards
The gathering includes post-race food, drinks, and music. Awards are presented to the Overall Male and Female finishers, as well as Masters Male and Female finishers aged 40 and over. First-place awards are also designated for male and female runners across various age groups, ranging from 9 and under to 70 and over.
