Run for a Resident 2026
Run for a Resident 2026 is a community road event at Sutton Community Home, 1106 N Saunders Ave, Sutton, NE 68979, on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The event offers a measured 5K course that starts and finishes at the Sutton Community Home circle drive and a separate 1 mile route.

The 5K will be timed by a professional timing company and results will be posted after the race; 5K participants will receive results by email. Registration for the event includes a t-shirt and after-race refreshments. To guarantee a t-shirt, registrants should complete registration by June 12, 2026. No race day registrations are accepted; registrations close the day before the event on Friday, June 26.
There is one water station along the 5K course. Runners and walkers are both permitted. Bicycles and pets are not allowed; strollers may be used but must start at the back of the lineup. Packets will be available for pickup at Sutton Community Home on the Friday before the race and on the morning of the event.
Age group awards cover multiple divisions from 10 and under through 60 plus, with medals for overall male and female finishers in the 5K and awards for the top three males and females in each age division. Proceeds support the Sutton Community Home building project.
