Run for a Resident 2026 - Sutton, NE
Run for a Resident takes place Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Sutton Community Home in Sutton, Nebraska. The event includes a community 5K and a 1 Mile course, and is part of the town's Dug Out Days celebration running June 26-28.
- 5K, professionally timed; results posted and emailed
- 1 Mile, open to runners and walkers
Registration fees are listed for each distance and registration is available through June 26, 2026; there is no race day registration. Race registration includes a t-shirt and after-race refreshments. To guarantee a t-shirt, register by June 12, 2026.
The start and finish are at the Sutton Community Home circle drive. There will be one water station along the 5K course. Bicycles and pets are not allowed; strollers are permitted but start at the back of the lineup.
Age groups are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Medals are awarded to overall female and male finishers in the 5K and to the top three females and top three males in each age division. Packet pickup is available at Sutton Community Home on the day before the race and on race day.
