Run for a Beer - Gardner
Run for a Beer in Gardner is part of Moon Hill Brewing's annual Oktoberfest and is hosted by the North Medford Club. The event takes place on September 26, 2026 at Moon Hill Brewing Co., Parker Street, Gardner, MA.
The event is a 5K run/walk that starts and ends at Moon Hill Brewery. All proceeds benefit Gardner and Narragansett track and cross country teams. A course map is provided by the organizers.
Registration includes one beer served at the end of the race for those 21 and older, or a non-alcoholic cider option. All participants receive a free pint glass. The first beer provided with registration will be ready to serve at the finish area.
Awards are given for runners and walkers. Awards for runners list top 3 M/W/N and first place in each age group. Awards for walkers list top 3 M/W/N.
Registration pricing follows an early, regular, and late schedule. Early registration is $35 through August 14, increasing to $40 from August 15 to September 20, and $45 from September 21 to September 26. Participants who register by August 14, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt.
The North Medford Club organizes the event; presenting sponsors include Moon Hill Brewing and Gardner Ale House and the Gardner Festival Committee, with additional local sponsors supporting the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
