Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon
The Run Branch County event takes place on Sunday, September 6, 2026 in Coldwater, MI. The venue is a recreation center at 1776 Heritage Dr., Coldwater, MI 49036. Listed entry fees are $30 for the 5K, $60 for the half marathon, and the kids 50 yard dash is free. Registration opens January 14, 2026.

Logistics and race services
Participants who register by August 1 receive a t-shirt; shirts are not guaranteed after that date. Finisher medals are provided to all 5K and half marathon participants. Age-group awards are listed for top three male and female finishers in multiple age brackets for each distance. Aid stations and restrooms are located along the courses - the half marathon lists multiple stations with water, Gatorade, and some restroom stops. Course maps are available. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the recreation center and on race morning. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Proceeds will fund local athletic organizations to support youth participation. The start and finish are at an outdoor recreational area with basketball courts, sand volleyball, pickle ball and tennis courts, disc golf, playground, and food vendors.
