Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon
Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Coldwater, Michigan. The event base is the Dr. Robert W. Browne Recreation Center at 1776 Heritage Drive, Coldwater, MI 49036.
Distances:
- 5K - 3.1 miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- Kids 50 Yard Dash - 50 yards, free
Base registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $60 for the half marathon; the kids dash is free. A $5 group discount applies when three or more people register together. Participants who register by August 23 receive a t-shirt; shirts are not guaranteed after that date. All 5K and half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in these age groups: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Aid stations and restrooms are located at specified mile marks on course maps. Packet pickup is available Saturday, September 5, 1:00–4:00 PM at the recreation center, and on race morning from 6:00–7:30 AM. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Proceeds provide local athletic organizations with resources to support youth participation. Food vendors and outdoor recreation amenities are available at the start and finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
