Event Details
The event takes place on a Sunday in September. Packet pickup is available on the Saturday before the race from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and on race day morning from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at the Dr. Robert W. Browne Recreation Center on Heritage Drive.
Participants in the 5K and Half Marathon receive a finisher medal. Awards are given for the top three males and females in standard age groups for both the 5K and the Half Marathon. The races are professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Registration and Inclusions
Registration fees for the Half Marathon and 5K increase periodically until race day. A discount is offered for registering three or more people at once. Participants who register by the early deadline receive a dri-fit t-shirt in adult sizes, though shirts are not guaranteed after the cutoff date.
Course and Amenities
The race start and finish area is an outdoor recreational facility featuring amenities like basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, pickleball/tennis courts, a disc golf course, and a children's playground. Food vendors will be present. Aid stations with water and sports drink are provided along both courses, with some also offering restroom facilities.
