About the race

Run Ballybunion is a road race event held on Saturday 27 March 2027 in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry, based at Kilcooly’s Country House Hotel. The event programme includes a half marathon, a 10 km road race, a 5 km road race and a Kids Fun Run.

The course follows routes through North Kerry along the Wild Atlantic Way. Runners and walkers encounter a mix of terrain with several hills and coastal vistas; the route includes uphill sections with views at the top of each climb. Results and timing details are to be confirmed.

Proceeds from the event will go to the organisers’ chosen charities, including local rescue services and the Midwest School For The Deaf. The event publishes a gallery of past races and provides race information and registration details through its website channels.

The description of the event emphasises both competitive races and more casual participation, and the organisers include a separate kids’ run as part of the day. Practical event information such as timing details and official results will be announced by the organiser when available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
