Ruffner Mountain Fall Classic in Irondale, AL
The event is a trail running weekend in Irondale at Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve and adjacent ball fields on November 14, 2026. Distances offered include a 6 Miler, a Half Marathon and a Full Marathon.

The course is based on a 6.4 mile loop configuration. Reported elevation gain by distance is approximately 1,450 ft for the 6 Miler, 2,900 ft for the Half Marathon and 5,800 ft for the Full Marathon.
Two aid stations are placed on course. One aid station is located near the Ruffner Mountain Nature Center at about 3.5 miles and a second aid station is at the start and finish area near 6.4 miles; these stations primarily serve Half and Full Marathon runners who start additional loops.
