Ruck 4 Freedom 2027 event details
Ruck 4 Freedom 2027 takes place at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, Arizona on February 27, 2027. The event is presented as a community running and rucking event that benefits members of the armed forces and includes in-person and virtual participation options.
Distances and options offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Ruck Challenge
- Virtual Ruck with a choice of 5K, 10K, or Ruck
Divisions include standard run/walk divisions, Honorary Ruck divisions for participants who choose to carry a backpack under 15 lb, and Competitive Ruck divisions that require a minimum dry weight carried throughout the event. Rucks are weighed before and/or after the race and participants who do not meet minimum weight requirements are not eligible for Competitive Ruck awards.
Awards are presented to top male and female finishers within age groups. Age groups are 12 and under, 13–17, 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 plus. All participants receive a custom event medal; a custom dri fit tech t-shirt is provided for the first 800 registered participants. Packet pick up details are listed as TBD. The event also supports fundraising; The Hope Foundation is listed with funds raised and a stated goal.
