The Royal Parks Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026. The race is a half marathon distance (13.1 miles) held on closed roads that pass through four Royal Parks and past well known London landmarks. The Royal Parks charity manages over 5,000 acres of historic parkland and cares for 170,000 trees and around 7,000 species of wildlife. The organisation’s parks include Bushy Park, The Green Park, Greenwich Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Regent’s Park, Richmond Park and St. James’s Park.
Team Royal Parks places and entry information
Team Royal Parks places require fundraisers to meet a minimum sponsorship target of £350 (excluding Gift Aid and the registration fee). A non-refundable registration fee of £35 applies; the registration deadline for Team Royal Parks places is Thursday 13 August 2026 at 5pm. Team Royal Parks entrants receive a race place and a sustainable running vest, access to the charity marquee on race day with hot drinks, refreshments and a pre-race baggage drop, and access to a professional photographer. The charity offers monthly e-newsletters and dedicated support from its Challenge Events team. Prizes for top fundraisers include tickets to Winter Wonderland 2026, paintball tickets and Hyde Park guided walking tour tickets. Runners who secure their own ballot place may run for the charity with no registration fee and no minimum sponsorship target, provided they set up a fundraising page.
