Entry, fundraising and race-day provisions
Team Royal Parks places require a minimum sponsorship target of £350 (excluding Gift Aid and the registration fee). The registration fee for a Team Royal Parks place is £35 (non-refundable). The registration deadline for Team Royal Parks applications is Thursday 13 August 2026 at 5pm. Participants who secure their own ballot place may run for The Royal Parks charity with no registration fee and no minimum sponsorship target, but are asked to set up a fundraising page.
Team Royal Parks entrants receive a sustainable running vest, access to The Royal Parks Charity Marquee on race day with hot drinks, refreshments and a pre-race baggage drop, plus a professional photographer. Additional benefits include monthly fundraising and training emails and dedicated support from the Challenge Events team. Prizes for top team fundraisers include tickets and experiences provided by the charity.
The Royal Parks charity manages over 5,000 acres of parkland in London, cares for about 170,000 trees and 7,000 species of wildlife, and limits a number of fundraising places for participants living outside the UK for sustainability reasons; air travel-related emissions accounted for 81% of the event’s total carbon emissions in 2024.
