Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026
The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a half marathon held on closed roads through four Royal Parks and past world-famous landmarks in London. The event scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026 offers Team Royal Parks fundraising places that require a minimum sponsorship target of £350 and a non-refundable registration fee of £35. Registration for Team Royal Parks places closes on Thursday 13 August 2026 at 5pm.
Team Royal Parks places include a race place, a sustainable running vest to identify fundraisers, and access to a charity marquee on race day with hot drinks, refreshments, a pre-race baggage drop facility and a professional photographer. Top team fundraisers receive specific rewards listed by the organiser. Monthly e-newsletters and dedicated support from the Challenge Events team are provided to fundraisers.
Participants who obtain their own ballot place may run for The Royal Parks charity without a registration fee and without a minimum sponsorship target, but are asked to set up a fundraising page and raise funds where possible.
The Royal Parks charity cares for over 5,000 acres of parkland across multiple parks, maintains about 170,000 trees and supports 7,000 species of wildlife. To reduce the event carbon footprint, a limited number of Team Royal Parks places are available to participants who live outside the UK due to the high share of air travel emissions recorded in 2024.
