Roy Days Royal Challenge 5K Run, Wheelchair 5K, 2 Mile Walk, Kids Fun Run
The Roy Days Royal Challenge is a community road event held on August 7, 2027, at the Roy City Fire Station, 5051 S. 1900 W., Roy, UT 84067. The event is part of the annual Roy Days Community Celebration and supports Roy High School.
Race formats include:
- 5K Run
- Wheelchair 5K
- 2 Mile Walk
- Kids Fun Run
Online pre-registration is available through Tuesday, August 3, 2027 at 12:00 PM (noon). Pre-registration fees are $25 for the 5K Run, Wheelchair 5K, and 2 Mile Walk, and $15 for the Kids Fun Run. Race day registration fees are $35 for the 5K Run, Wheelchair 5K, and 2 Mile Walk, and $20 for the Kids Fun Run. Participants who register after August 3 will not receive the Dri-Fit performance race shirt; pre-registered participants receive the shirt.
Registration includes refreshments and finishing ribbon awards. The event offers cash prizes and trophies for top overall 5K finishers, medals for the top three in each men’s and women’s 5K age division, chip timing, and post-race raffle prizes including cash giveaways and a Fleet Feet gift card.
Packet pickup takes place Friday, August 6, 2027 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the pavilion west of the Roy City Fire Station. Late registration is available race morning behind the fire station with limited availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
