Roy Days Royal Challenge 5K
The Roy Days Royal Challenge is scheduled for August 1, 2026 at the Roy City Fire Station, 5051 S. 1900 W., Roy, UT 84067. The event offers multiple participation options and is presented as part of the Roy Days community celebration.

- Kids Fun Run
Online pre-registration is available through July 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM (NOON). Pre-registration fees listed are $25 for the 5K Run, Wheelchair 5K, and 2 Mile Walk, and $15 for the Kids Fun Run. Race day fees are higher. Pre-registered participants receive a Dri-Fit performance race shirt; race day registrants will not receive the Dri-Fit shirt.
Packet pickup is scheduled the evening before at the pavilion west of the Roy City Fire Station, where participants receive their race packet, bib number, course map, grab bag, and race shirt. Late registration will be available the morning of the event behind the Roy City Fire Station.
Timing and awards: the 5K uses chip timing. The event offers finishing ribbons, cash prizes and trophies for top overall 5K finishers, and medals for the top three in all men’s and women’s 5K age divisions. Post-race raffle prizes and refreshments are included. The event acknowledges support for Roy High School and maintains past results from previous years.
