Roy Days Royal Challenge
The Roy Days Royal Challenge is a community running event held in Roy, Utah, as part of the annual Roy Days Community Celebration. The event features several participation options centered around the Roy City Fire Station. This race supports Roy High School and includes professional chip timing for all participants.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K Run
- Wheelchair 5K
- 2 Mile Walk
- Kids Fun Run Course
Registered participants receive a dri-fit performance t-shirt and refreshments. Pre-registration ensures the availability of race shirts on the day of the event, while those registering on the morning of the race may collect their shirts at a later date from Roy High School. A packet pick-up is held the evening before the race at the pavilion west of the Roy City Fire Station, where runners can collect their bib numbers, grab bags, and course maps.
The event includes an awards ceremony following the races. Cash prizes are awarded to the top overall finishers, and additional awards are presented to the top three finishers in each men's and women's age category for the 5K Run. All participants in the 5K Run, Wheelchair 5K, 2 Mile Walk, and Kids Fun Run are entered into a raffle featuring various prizes and gift cards.
