Roughrider Run 5K
The Roughrider Run 5K takes place on 08/22/2026 in Neosho, Missouri, with the start and finish at the Lampo Building, 500 E Spring Street. The 5K is a certified course that runs on the walking trail in Morse Park and is described in the organizer text as flat and fast.
Distances
- 5K - certified course, flat and fast, out and back on the Morse Park walking trail.
- 1 Mile Fun Run - youth event with a running clock but no official timing. Youth participants receive a race t shirt and a participation medal.
Awards are given to overall winners and medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each of the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
A virtual option is offered. Registrants who run virtually submit a picture of a GPS watch showing their result along with their name, age, and gender. T shirts for virtual participants are available for pickup at Crowder College in Neosho or through arranged pickup in Joplin, Missouri.
