Ross Lake Rally
The Ross Lake Rally is an early season alpine trail running weekend in North Cascades National Park. The event uses Colonial Creek campground as basecamp and includes coordinated camping reservations, backcountry permits, shuttles, meals and guided support. Participants must bring or rent personal camping gear such as a tent, sleeping bag and sleeping pad.
Runners are transported by boat taxi for lake drop offs at the base of Desolation Peak or Lighting Creek and run back to Highway 20 or Colonial Creek while passing views of the North Cascades. The guide team provides logistical support, area information, safety oversight and shared meals. Camp amenities are provided to create a remote but comfortable camp experience and dietary needs can be accommodated in meal planning.
