Event Details
The Mahoning County Junior Fair presents the annual Rooster Run Walk. The events take place at the Canfield Fairgrounds, located at 7265 Columbiana-Canfield Rd, Canfield, OH.
The event includes a 5K run/walk and a Duckling Dash for children. Registration for the 5K includes an event shirt, a commemorative finisher medal, a chip-timed bib number, and a wrist band for admission to the fair. Registration for the Duckling Dash includes a kids' finisher medal, a bib number, and a wrist band for fair admission.
Both the Duckling Dash (a half-mile event for ages 12 and under) and the 5K are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing.
Packet pickup is available early on the day before the event at Boardman Fleet Feet. On race day, packet pickup and sign-up occur at Gate F of the fairgrounds; participants should enter at vehicle Gate 9. The race starts at the Event Center near Gate F.
Awards for the 5K are given to the top overall male and female winners, as well as the top three males and females in standard age groups ranging from 14 & under to 70 & over.
