Rooikat Trail Run 2026
The Rooikat Trail Run takes place on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at Entle Private Game Farm in the Elands River Valley near Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape. The venue is described as a private game reserve with rugged landscapes and pristine wilderness.
The course uses flowing single track and includes sustained climbs, river crossings and descents. Runners will share parts of the reserve with local wildlife and will encounter varied trail terrain throughout the routes.

Entry fees listed for these routes are R225 for the 8 km, R275 for the 12 km and R325 for the 20 km. A primary school fee for under 13s is listed as R50.
Pre-entries close on Thursday, 27 August 2026; late entries are accepted on race day with an additional R50 fee. Substitutions are permitted, with a R100 fee for late substitutions. No refunds are issued once an entry is confirmed. The event is not dog friendly. Age categories include a primary school under-13 category and a masters category for older competitors.
