RomaOstia Half Marathon
The RomaOstia Half Marathon is a long-standing athletic event that connects the heart of Rome to the coastline. The race follows a linear path starting in the EUR district and traveling along Via Cristoforo Colombo until it reaches the sea at Ostia.
The course covers a total distance of 21.097 km. It is described as a fast route, featuring a notable incline known as the salita del Camping, followed by a final descent toward the finish area. Participants have a maximum time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the distance.
The event is organized by the Gruppo Sportivo Bancari Romani (GSBRun) in collaboration with RCS Sports & Events. Participation is open to club-affiliated athletes and those with a RunCard, provided they meet the specific entry requirements and hold valid medical certificates. Runners can update their personal best times in the registration system until mid-February to ensure appropriate placement.
