Rogue Gorge
Rogue Gorge is a two day trail running event on October 17 and 18, 2026, staged from Union Creek in the Southern Oregon Cascades. Races take place entirely along the Upper Rogue Wild and Scenic River and use the Rogue Gorge Trail and Upper Rogue River Trail, a National Recreation Trail. The courses run through old growth forest and fall foliage, with singletrack that follows river bluffs, collapsed lava tube chasms, waterfalls and sections where the river goes underground.
The event program includes point to point races on Saturday and loop style races on Sunday. Support services listed for entrants include marked courses, aid stations, medical support and finish line services. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to the Siskiyou Mountain Club. Volunteer trail work and stewardship opportunities are part of the event season to help maintain the trails.
The race village and staging area are at the Union Creek Day Use Picnic Shelter and Amphitheater within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, about 23 miles west of Crater Lake National Park. Camping is available at the adjacent Union Creek Campground and local lodging is offered at Union Creek Resort and in nearby Prospect and Medford.
The organizers acknowledge that the event takes place on the traditional lands of the Takelma, Southern Molalla and Klamath peoples.
