About the race
The Rodgers Road Race is the second annual community event on November 7, 2026, in White Plains, Kentucky. It benefits a memorial scholarship for a local coach; all race proceeds, donations, and sponsorships contribute to the scholarship fund. The course begins and ends at White Plains City Hall next to the walking trail.
The event program includes both in-person and virtual options:
- 3.1 Miles (5K)
- 1 Mile (Kids Run) : elementary students (ages 10 and under)
A Virtual Run/Walk option is offered for remote participation. Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes October 8, 2026. Fees listed for the event include $30 for the 5K, $20 for the 1 mile kids run, and $30 for the virtual option. Organizers note an early registration deadline for guaranteed race shirts; later registrants may not receive a shirt.
Race day activities include awards following the kids run, food trucks, photo opportunities, and foundation merchandise. Packet pickup is available; virtual participants should collect race packets at packet pickup or on race day, or arrange alternate pickup or shipping with the event organizer.
