Rockland GAA Memorial 5K
The Rockland GAA Memorial 5K is the sixth annual in-person event held on March 28, 2026, in Orangeburg, NY. It is presented in memory of deceased members of the Rockland GAA club and takes place at 160 Old Orangeburg Road, Orangeburg 10962.
The main event is a 5K Run/Walk with several registration options: the full 5K entry that includes a bib and a choice of two drink tickets for participants 21 and older or a T-shirt, a members-only 5K entry with the same drink ticket or T-shirt option, a T-shirt only option, and a bib-only 5K entry. To guarantee a T-shirt, registration must be completed by March 15, 2026; sizes are not guaranteed after that date.
A free children’s fun run for ages 12 and younger is scheduled to follow the 5K. Participants in the fun run do not receive a T-shirt unless they also register under a T-shirt option.
The event lists sponsorship and volunteer-supported services including water stations and finish line support. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers with prize amounts of $500, $300, and $100 respectively. Sponsorship opportunities are available through the event organizer.
