Event overview
The Rockhampton Triathlon on 22 March 2026 is held in Rockhampton, Australia, at the 2nd World War Memorial Aquatic Centre (South Side Pool). The program includes a Women's Only event with triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon and team triathlon options. Distances offered for women include Sprint and Enticer, and there is a special Tri-MUMs start for mothers who want to finish before their children race. Team entries are available for the triathlon events only.
Course and rules
The swim, ride and run legs follow the same format as 2025. Roads used for the bike leg are closed and the course is supervised by traffic control and course marshals. For the swim leg, flippers, pool noodles and kick boards are permitted. Non-swimmers may choose the duathlon option.
Junior (U15) event
A junior program follows the Women’s Only event at the same pool. It includes a variety of distances for children aged 5 to 14 as of 31 December 2026. The junior program offers both triathlon and duathlon formats.
Entry fees and discounts
Individual entry is listed at $55, with an early bird rate of $45 available until 20 February 2026; TA Standard and Premium level members receive a $10 discount. Team entries are $55 per team, with an early bird rate of $45. Junior entry is $25 per child, with a $10 early bird discount until 20 February 2026.
