Rockhampton Triathlon - Women & Juniors
The Rockhampton Triathlon Women and Juniors event takes place on 22 March 2026 at the 2nd World War Memorial Aquatic Centre (South Side Pool) in Rockhampton. The women's program includes triathlon, duathlon, aquathon and team triathlon entries. The event is presented in a non-competitive atmosphere and accommodates beginners to intermediate athletes. The swim leg permits fins, pool noodles and kick boards; non-swimmers may choose a duathlon option.
The bike course runs on closed roads and is supervised by traffic control and course marshals. The 2026 course follows the same format as 2025 and race operations indicate the roads and transition areas are managed for participant safety. A special Tri MUMs wave is included among the women’s starts.
The junior program for ages 5 to 14 as of 31 December 2026 follows the women's events at the same venue and offers a range of distances for those age groups. Transition and event areas use the South Rockhampton Pool carpark for participant check in and bag drop.
Entry fees for the women's events are listed at $55 for individual entries with an early bird rate of $45 available until 20 February 2026; Triathlon Australia Standard and Premium members receive a $10 discount. Team entry is $55 per team with an early bird rate of $45. Junior entry is $25 per child with a $10 early bird discount. The event is organised by Fitzroy Frogs Triathlon.
