Rockcut Ultra, Halfcut and Shortcut
Three trail races take place on Twillingate Island in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Rockcut Ultra covers 50 kilometres on the Rockcut Twillingate Trails along the edge of the North Atlantic. The route includes coastal rugged single-track, forested sections, bogs and roads that pass through outport communities on Twillingate Island.
The Halfcut is a 23-kilometre loop around Twillingate's North Island. Runners follow mostly rugged single-track coastal trails that pass several coastal viewpoints.
The Shortcut is a 9-kilometre loop beginning in Snellins Cove. The course goes to Back Harbour, around Batrix Island, through Spencer's Park, returns through Back Harbour to Smith's Lookout and descends back to Snellins Cove.
