About the race
Rockcut Ultra, Halfcut and Shortcut take place in Twillingate, NL, on Twillingate Island at the edge of the North Atlantic. The event offers multiple trail race options that use local coastal and island routes.
The ROCKCUT Ultra covers 50 km on the Rockcut Twillingate Trails. The route includes coastal rugged single track, forested sections, bogs and roads that pass through scenic outport communities.
The HALFCUT is a 23 km loop around Twillingate's North Island, consisting mostly of rugged, single track coastal trails that showcase local coastal scenery.
The SHORTCUT is a 9 km loop beginning in Snellins Cove. The course goes to Back Harbour, around Batrix Island, through Spencer's Park, returns via Back Harbour to Smith's Lookout (up to the Cross), and then back down to Snellins Cove.
