Rock ‘N Reef Trail Run - Bowen, Queensland
Rock ‘N Reef Trail Run is an Outer Limits Trail Run Series event based at Case Park in Bowen, on the shores of Edgecumbe Bay in the Whitsundays. The event offers three marked trail distances that run on coastal reserves, beaches and headlands and include rocky singletrack, stair sections and areas of soft sand.
Courses are marked with pink tape, signage and arrows, and marshals are positioned at significant junctions. The event provides on-course hydration and snacks (participants should use their own bottles), first aid support, professional electronic timing with a bib plate and timing chip that competitors keep, and on-course photography. Cut-off times for some courses are to be confirmed.
Registration details and entry fees vary by distance and category. Minimum ages are specified for each distance: 8 years for short distances and 11 years for longer distances. Junior entry options and age-group categories are available.
Mandatory gear is required for the 10 km and 18 km races and includes two compression bandages, a fully charged waterproofed phone, a whistle and a space blanket; gear checks take place at sign-in. The organisers ask that participants respect the Cape Edgecumbe Heights Recreation Reserve and other users of the trails.

- 10 km: Adds headland coasteering, Kings Beach loop, Mother Beddock, Murray Bay, Horseshoe Bay
- 18 km: Extends to Flagstaff Hill and lighthouse views, includes coasteering and beaches
