Rock Hawk Trail Races - Castle Rock, CO
The Rock Hawk Trail Races take place at Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, Colorado on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The event offers four distance options on the Miller Park and Ridgeline trail systems, which feature rolling terrain, varied grades, and notable views. Trails are described as not overly technical.
Distances include:
- 50K 31.2 miles, 3,325 ft total elevation gain
- 25K 15.6 miles, 1,667 ft total elevation gain
- 10K 6.2 miles, 744 ft total elevation gain
- 5K 3.1 miles, 342 ft total elevation gain
Aid stations are cup free and stocked with water, an electrolyte drink (Tailwind), sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. Drop bags are permitted at the start/finish area in a weather sealed bag. Crew and pacer rules vary by distance; pacers must carry required gear and complete a gear check where permitted. Some proceeds benefit Castle Rock open spaces and partner charities.
Event services include official chip timing, custom finisher awards, finish line photography, and live split tracking during the race.
