Rock Hawk Trail Races
The Rock Hawk Trail Races take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Phillip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, Colorado. The event offers four distances on trail: 50K, 25K, 10K, and 5K. The courses use the Miller Park and Ridgeline Trail systems, featuring rolling terrain and views.
The event has time limits: 9 hours for the 50K, 8 hours for the 25K, 3.5 hours for the 10K, and 3 hours for the 5K. There are two cup-free aid stations on the course providing water, Tailwind electrolyte drink, sweet snacks, salty snacks, and fruit.
Crew access is allowed at the start/finish area for all distances. Pacers are permitted for the 50K distance but must carry required gear. Runners may leave a drop bag at the start/finish line.
A portion of the race proceeds benefits the open spaces and trails of Castle Rock and partner charities. Bib pickup is available on the Friday before the race and on race morning.
