Rock Hawk Trail Races take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, Colorado. The event offers multiple distances on the Miller Park and Ridgeline Trail systems. A portion of race proceeds benefit the open spaces and trails of Castle Rock and partner charities. Registration closes Monday, August 24, 2026.

- 50K : 31.2 miles; total elevation gain 3,325 ft; max elevation 6,635 ft; time limit 9 hours.
- 25K : 15.6 miles; total elevation gain 1,667 ft; max elevation 6,635 ft; time limit 8 hours.
- 10K : 6.2 miles; total elevation gain 744 ft; max elevation 6,612 ft; time limit 3.5 hours.
- 5K : 3.1 miles; total elevation gain 342 ft; max elevation 6,578 ft; time limit 3 hours.
Course and race support
The races use rolling trails that are not described as highly technical and include scenic views. All distances share two cup-free aid stations on course that runners will reach multiple times; aid stations provide water, an electrolyte drink (Tailwind), sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. Runners may leave a weather-sealed drop bag at the start/finish area.
Crew and pacer rules vary by distance. For the 25K, crew is not permitted; crew may sign up to work at aid stations, and unauthorized crew assistance can result in disqualification. Pacers must carry the same required gear as runners and complete a gear check before pacing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
