- 25K: one loop Devil's Ice Box then two loops on High Ridge Trails
- 50K: two loops of the 25K course
The course is mostly single track with varied terrain and creek crossings. The 25K route includes a loop on the Devil's Ice Box Trails, a crossing of Hwy 163, and loops on the High Ridge Trails. The 50K consists of two repetitions of the 25K course. Chip timing is used and the overall time limit is eight hours.
Aid stations are located at Grasslands and High Ridge and are stocked with food, water, and drinks. 50K participants may leave a drop bag at the start to access before their second loop. This is a cup free event; participants must carry a water bottle, hydration pack, or collapsible cup for items not kept in a bottle or pack at aid stations.
There are four park restrooms at the start area and additional bathrooms at Devil's Icebox, roughly five miles into the course. Entry fees are $72.06 for the 50K and $61.43 for the 25K, and the race is limited to 175 competitors combined. Cash awards are given to overall male and female finishers in both distances.
