Roaming Shores 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
This event comprises a 5K run and a 1 Mile fun run/walk held at the Roaming Shores Clubhouse in Roaming Shores, OH (13 Roaming Rock Blvd., 44085) on July 4, 2026. Proceeds benefit local Safety Services and the STARS Club, which organizes the annual Roaming Shores fireworks display and social events.
Distances:
- 5K - Flat loop around Roaming Shores Village.
- 1 Mile - Flat loop around Roaming Rock Boulevard; start line at the Clubhouse parking lot, restrooms available.
Registration opens January 17, 2026. The 5K registration closes June 29, 2026; the 1 Mile registration remains open through July 4, 2026. Fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the 1 Mile. A race shirt is guaranteed for registrants who register by June 20, 2026; a limited supply of shirts will be available after that date. Shirts sized 2XL and larger incur a $2 charge.
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female trophies, and medals for 1st through 3rd place in each age group by gender. The 1 Mile presents overall male and female trophies, medals for 1st place in each age group, and ribbons for 2nd and 3rd place. Age categories run from 9 and younger through 70 and over.
