Riverton City’s Monster Dash is a Halloween-themed event that includes a community 5K and a Mini Monster Triathlon held along the Jordan River Parkway Trail. The event is scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026, at Dr. O Roi Hardy Park, 12400 River Vista Dr, Riverton, UT.

The 5K encourages costumes and awards a medal and a t-shirt to participants. The Mini Monster Triathlon is aimed at children ages 2 to 9 and consists of an age-appropriate run, followed by a bike, scooter, strider, or tricycle ride, and finishing with a small pumpkin roll. Children may be assisted by a parent or guardian on the course; bikes and trikes should be attended at all times. The listed cost for the Mini Monster Triathlon is $15.

Registration information provided for the event includes General Registration July 11 to September 5 for $20 and Late Registration September 6 to October 5 for $25. Packet pickup is scheduled at Riverton City Hall from September 29 to October 3, Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Finishers receive medals at the finish line.
