About the race
Riverside Run/Walk Riverside CT 2027 is a community running event organized to benefit the Riverside School PTA. Proceeds support PTA programs that enrich classroom curriculum, support teachers and staff, and strengthen the school community.
Registration is not yet open and will open before the event date. Last year’s event information and race procedures are referenced for planning. Amenities listed for the event include T-shirts and an awards ceremony that follows the Kids Fun Run.
Bib pickup is available early on Friday, May 8 at Riverside School from 2:30 to 4:00 pm, and on race day starting at 7:30 am at Riverside School. Runners who register at least three weeks before race day will have their name printed on their bib. Participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib; a self-lookup area is provided. If registration occurs within 24 hours of bib pickup, registrants will receive their bib number by text or via the bib lookup tool.
The course consists of a scenic 3 mile run through the Riverside neighborhood. The event also includes a Kids Fun Run route. Results are posted live online and by email or text, and the event provides free same-day finish-line photos and video.
Awards are given to the top finishers in multiple categories, including overall places, a teacher award, and age-group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
