River City Half Marathon
The River City Half Marathon is a point-to-point road race held in Columbus, Georgia. Organized by Revolution Running Co., the event follows a route along the Columbus Riverwalk, primarily running alongside the Chattahoochee River. The course begins at the Lake Oliver Marina and concludes at Oxbow Meadows, situated near Fort Benning.
The race route features approximately 350 feet of incline and over 500 feet of decline. Participants travel through several local landmarks, including the North Highlands Dam and historic Downtown Columbus, before entering Oxbow Meadows for the finish. The event has a total time limit of 4 hours.

Participants have access to aid stations located at miles 2.5, 6.75, and 10. These stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and fruit. Registered runners receive a hoodie (subject to a registration deadline) and finishers are awarded a medal. Post-race food and drinks are provided for all participants at the finish line.
As a point-to-point race, shuttle transportation is available via bus tickets from the finish area at Oxbow Meadows to the start line at Lake Oliver Marina. Packet pickup is conducted on the Friday and Saturday prior to the race at a local fitness center, as well as at the start line on the morning of the event.
