River City Half Marathon : Columbus, GA
The event spans October 10–11, 2026 in Columbus, Georgia, and includes a point to point half marathon plus an evening 5K. The half marathon starts at Lake Oliver Marina and finishes at Oxbow Meadows near Fort Benning, with most of the course running alongside the Chattahoochee River and the Columbus Riverwalk. The course passes over the North Highlands Dam and through historic downtown Columbus. Elevation change on the course is about 350 feet of incline and over 500 feet of decline.

Packet pickup is available at DexaFit Columbus, 6440 W Hamilton Park Rd Suite B1, on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and also at the start line on race morning. Registered participants receive a hoodie if registered by Sunday, September 21; later registrants receive a Revolution Running shirt. All finishers receive a finisher's medal.
Aid stations are located at miles 2.5, 6.75, and 10, offering electrolyte drinks, water, gels, and fruit; carrying personal hydration is encouraged. Buses are available for purchase to shuttle runners from the finish back to the start; bus pickup is from the south end of the Hampton Inn parking lot on S Lumpkin Rd. The half marathon has a four hour course cutoff. A 100 percent refund is available up to three months before the event; after that there is no refund.
