Riding Mountain Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K
The event offers three distances starting in the Wasagaming townsite (Clear Lake) inside Riding Mountain National Park on September 20, 2026. The Dauphin Rotary Club organizes the races in partnership with Parks Canada under the RaceRMNP banner.
The distances offered are:
- Half Marathon (includes finisher medal)
- 10K (includes finisher medal)
- 5K walk/run (includes finisher medal)
Participants will run on paved road sections noted for scenic views of the park. The addition of a 5K walk/run provides an option suitable for family participation.
Registration is divided into pricing windows labeled New Years, Early Bird, Standard, and Procrastinator as shown by the organizer. The event is part of the MRA Celebration Series and is sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners Association. Funds raised by RaceRMNP support active living initiatives in the community; the Dauphin Rotary Club has donated $200,000.00 to the NorthGate Multi-Use Trail System near the park's northern border.
