Riding Mountain Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K
The Riding Mountain Half Marathon is a road running event organized by the Dauphin Rotary Club in cooperation with Parks Canada. The event takes place in the Wasagaming townsite, located by Clear Lake within Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba.
The race is sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners Association (MRA) and is featured as part of the MRA Celebration Series. Participants in all categories receive a finisher medal upon completion of their distance.
Available distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km (available for both runners and walkers)
The event is hosted under the RaceRMNP umbrella, a group of non-profit events. Proceeds from the registration fees are used by the Dauphin Rotary Club to support community active living projects, such as the NorthGate Multi-Use Trail System situated near the northern border of the park.
