Ridge Road Run, Fremont NE
The Ridge Road Run is part of the John C. Fremont Days schedule and will take place on July 11, 2026, at Christensen Field in Fremont, Nebraska. The event marks the 37th year of the race and is organized by runners for runners. It is a chip timed road race held on a pancake flat course and is open to all ages and abilities.

The 2 mile course begins at Christensen Field and follows roads adjacent to the industrial park before returning to the finish. For 2026 the 5 mile route has been revised: runners leave the Christensen Field complex, head west and north to complete one loop around the industrial park, return toward Christensen Field, continue south on Ridge Road and complete a shaded loop through a neighborhood before finishing at the complex.
Participants receive a t shirt with sizes not guaranteed for registrations after June 22. Awards are presented to top male and female finishers in each age group for each distance and to the top three overall male and female finishers. The event provides on course and finish line photography and race swag for participants. All registrations are final, proceeds benefit the John C. Fremont Days Foundation, and there are no refunds.
