Ridge Road Run : Fremont, NE (July 11, 2026)
The Ridge Road Run is part of the John C. Fremont Days events and takes place in Fremont, NE on July 11, 2026. The event offers two chip-timed road race distances that begin at Christensen Field, Gate 5 entrance.
- 2 mile road race starting at Christensen Field
- 5 mile road race with a revised 2026 route starting at Christensen Field
The course is described as pancake flat. The 2 mile course follows roads adjacent to the industrial park and loops back to the finish line at Christensen Field. The 5 mile course for 2026 follows a revised route that departs the Christensen Field complex, goes west and north to complete a single loop around the industrial park, returns toward the complex, continues south on Ridge Road, completes a shaded neighborhood loop, and then returns to the complex for the finish.
Race features include chip timing, participant t-shirts (sizes not guaranteed for registrations after June 22), on-course and finish-line photography, and race swag. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each age group for each distance and to the top three male and female overall finishers. Timing services are provided by run nebraska.
All registrations are final. The race is held rain or shine unless organizers determine conditions make the event unsafe or logistically impractical. Proceeds benefit the John C. Fremont Days Foundation and no refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
