Ridge Rambler Half Marathon
The Ridge Rambler Half Marathon is a point-to-point race near Bridgeport, California, with the course area centered on Twin Lakes. The event is organized by Ridge Rambler 5K & Half Marathon and proceeds benefit Bridgeport Elementary School. Registration closes on Fri, Sep 25 at 11:59 PM PT.
Check-in is located on South Twin Road near the Lower Twin Lake Boating Site and is separate from the starting line, roughly one to two miles from the start. After check-in, participants may take a shuttle to the starting area or drive down the road alongside the lake and park on the roadside. A shuttle will be available at the finish to return runners toward the start area.
The course begins on the back side of Lower Twin at about 7,100 ft, follows the lake, then descends toward Buckeye Road (about 6,800 ft). Runners turn onto Buckeye Road and climb the ridge, including rolling hills with a highest point around 7,130 ft, before finishing near 6,600 ft. The event provides three on-course aid stations with water, and the finish area includes water, snacks, and a finisher medal.
An after party is planned but details are still being finalized. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
