Ridge Rambler Half Marathon
The Ridge Rambler Half Marathon is a point-to-point half marathon held near Bridgeport, California, with the start area at Twin Lakes and the finish at a different location. The race begins on the back side of Lower Twin at approximately 7,100 feet elevation and follows a route that runs around the lake, descends toward Buckeye Road (about 6,800 feet), climbs a ridge with rolling hills to a high point near 7,130 feet, and finishes around 6,600 feet.
Check-in is located on South Twin Road near the Lower Twin Lake Boating Site and is separate from the start area; participants must travel from check-in to the starting line by shuttle or by driving along the road and parking roadside. A shuttle will be available at the finish to return runners to the starting area. There are three aid stations with water along the course, and water and snacks will be available at the finish along with a finisher medal.
Registration fees listed for the event are $70 per person, rising to $80 after July 31. Registrations completed after August 26 are not guaranteed a t-shirt or medal.
