The event is a 26.2 mile marathon run over three laps of Richmond Park. The first lap is 12 miles and combines a route around the park perimeter with sections through the centre. The second and third laps each follow the Tamsin Trail and are about 7.1 miles each. The start and finish area is located near Sheen Gate on the north side of the park. The route is sign-posted, marked in miles and uses a mass start format.
