Event programming includes ceremonies, games, contests, and special activities tailored for survivors and caregivers. Additional features listed for the day include a campus 5K called the Race Within Relay and a Relay Robot Race with the theme Formula 1: Driven By Hope. Survivors register free of charge. Participants who registered and paid or fundraised at least $20 before April 16 qualified to receive a luminaria bag and an event t-shirt at check-in.
Fundraising incentives include a Campus T-Shirt option for a $25 fee, membership tiers for raising $1,000 (Grand Club) and $2,500 (All Star), and a points-based Relay Rewards program for redeeming fundraising points.
