Redfish Lake Lodge Memorial Weekend Run
This annual Memorial Day weekend event is centered at Redfish Lake Lodge. Races start and finish at the Lodge and use a mix of sand, gravel, paved, and dirt trails that run around the lake and the Point Campground.
Distances and basic course notes:
- 5k: sand, gravel, paved, and dirt trails; $50 ($60 after March 1)
- 10k: sand, gravel, paved, and dirt trails; some paved hills; $60 ($70 after March 1)
- Half Marathon: sand, gravel, paved, and dirt trails; challenging; $75 ($85 after March 1)
- Kids Race: one mile loop around Point Campground; ages 3 to 10; free
Packet pickup is available on the Friday and Saturday before the race, and Friday pickup is encouraged. The event was sold out for the listed year and no day-of registration will occur. After the races, participants may join a communal cold plunge from the docks called the Blue Fish Club. A pre-race meal is offered on Friday for a fee and registered participants receive a post-race lunch; additional meals are available for purchase at on-site dining locations.
Lodging and campsite options are associated with the Lodge and nearby Stanley town properties. The Lodge operates under a special use permit from the U.S. Forest Service on the Sawtooth National Forest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
