Memorial Day Weekend Race - Redfish Lake Lodge
This annual Memorial Day weekend event at Redfish Lake Lodge features multiple footrace distances that start and finish at the Lodge and use trails around the lake and Point Campground. Courses run on a mix of sand, gravel, paved and dirt trails. Packet pickup is available on the Friday and Saturday before the race in front of the Lodge, with Friday pickup encouraged. The event is currently sold out; registration for the Saturday, May 29th 2027 race will open on Thanksgiving Day 2026.
Distances offered:
- 5k: relatively flat loop around the North Shore and Point Campground.
- 10k: includes paved hills on the back half and lake views.
- Half Marathon: longer course on mixed surfaces starting and finishing at the Lodge.
- Kids Race: one-mile loop for ages 3 to 10, free for children.
Event participants receive lunch after the race as part of registration. A pre-race meal is offered on the Friday before the event with listed prices for adults and children. After the race the Blue Fish Club gathers on the docks for a communal cold plunge. Lodging and campsite options are associated with the Lodge; camping on nearby public lands is managed by the U.S. Forest Service.
