Redfish Lake Lodge Memorial Weekend Run : May 23, 2026
The event is a multi-distance running day held at Redfish Lake Lodge in Stanley, Idaho. All races begin and end at the lodge and use paths that include sand, gravel, paved and dirt trails around the lake and Point Campground. The 5k follows a relatively flat route along the north shore. The 10k includes paved hills on the back half of the course. The half marathon covers extended mixed-surface terrain. A one-mile kids race loops out and around the Point Campground for children ages 3–10; the kids race is free.
Packet pickup is scheduled in front of the lodge on Friday, May 22, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, May 23, from 8:00 to 9:30 am. Online registration closes at 10:00 pm on May 22, 2026, or when the race reaches capacity. Entry fees listed by the organizer are:
- Kids Race one-mile, ages 3–10, free
- 5k entry $50 ($60 after March 1, 2026)
- 10k entry $60 ($70 after March 1, 2026)
- Half Marathon entry $75 ($85 after March 1, 2026)
A communal cold plunge from the docks takes place around midday after the races. A pre-race meal is offered Friday evening with separate pricing for adults and children; race registrations include a post-race lunch. Lodging and campsite options are available locally; campsite reservations are handled through the U.S. Forest Service recreation system.
