Red Wine and Blueberry Run
The Red Wine and Blueberry Run takes place at the Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City. This event features a flat course that follows an out-and-back route from the winery to Egg Harbor City Lake. The path consists of multiple surfaces, primarily utilizing packed dirt roads through wooded areas with minimal sections on pavement. Participants are invited to wear patriotic outfits.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile (Kids Fun Run)
Participants in the 5K who are aged 21 and older receive a commemorative wine glass, an official race T-shirt, and a glass of wine upon completion. Options include red, white, or blueberry champagne. Participants under the age of 21 receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. The Kids Fun Run is available for children aged 12 and under.
A finishers party is held at the Wine and Beer Garden following the race, featuring live music from a band. Awards are provided to the top two overall male and female finishers. Additionally, awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, ranging from 19 and under to 60 and over.
