Red River Run
The Red River Run is an annual trail race that has been held since 1974. The event listed for September 19, 2026 marks the club's 52nd anniversary.
The course follows trails along the river and will be USTF certified. Organizers note that rain can make some parts of the trail slippery or muddy, and the route includes winding, sometimes narrow sections; because of this, strollers and pets are not allowed on the course.
Awards are given at the finish line without a formal ceremony. Post-race snacks will be provided and the event includes over $1,000 in door prizes. The race supports the local non-profit Hope Inc., a 501c3 organization serving the Fargo-Moorhead and Grand Fork communities that provides family-oriented sporting and recreational opportunities.
Packet pick up is held at MB Johnson Park, 3601 11th St N, Moorhead. Race day registration is available at the event site. Race photos are posted on the club's Facebook page. Registration details are noted as coming soon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
