Red Dress Run at Greenwich Park

Red Dress Run is the fifth Colour Walks event. It is a 5K fun run, jog, walk, or strut through Greenwich Park, with an in-person gathering at Blackheath Gate and a shared finish at the top of the hill.

Participants are asked to wear a red dress, red skirt, red jumpsuit, or red co-ords and to use trainers or other footwear suitable for moving. Heels are not permitted. The route finishes on Greenwich Hill where the group stops to hold a ribbon across the finish line and take a group photo with views that include Canary Wharf, the River Thames, and the London skyline.

The event is free. There is no timing and no competition; people move together at their chosen pace and the event is described as inclusive, with no one left behind. The organiser offers an optional charity element: participants may set up a JustGiving page for a women's charity of their choice and share the link in advance, and the organiser will provide a list of suggested charities in event updates.

The event is aimed at women who run, women who used to run, and women who have never run but would like to try. Minors under 16 may attend only with a parent or legal guardian. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
