RDM Trail Race - Trussville, AL
The event offers trail distances on single-track trails near 504 Cherokee Dr, with the start and finish at the Trussville Senior Citizens Center parking lot.

The 5-mile course is a single loop of technical single-track trail. The 10-mile option repeats the 5-mile loop twice. The 5K follows the same trail but cuts off certain portions. Approximately 90% of the route is on trails and the course includes multiple switchbacks, elevation changes, and varied scenery. Two aid stations are provided: one near the halfway point and one at the loop end/beginning. Trail shoes or hiking boots are recommended because roots and rocks are common.
There is a total cap of 125 competitors across all distances. Packet pickup will occur at the start/finish area on race morning. Bib colors differentiate distances: 5K bibs have a white background, 5-mile bibs are orange, and 10-mile bibs are black.
All registrants receive a finisher medal. Awards are given by distance and age division; first overall male and female in each distance receive awards, and first and second male and female in each age division also receive awards. The last day to ensure a requested shirt size is 2/28/26. Runners, ruckers, and hikers are all welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
