Event overview
The RDM Trail Race takes place in Trussville, AL, at 504 Cherokee Dr. The event offers multiple course distances and has a total participant cap of 125 across all distances.

Course
The course is a single 5 mile loop on technical single-track trail. The 10 mile distance is the 5 mile loop run twice. The 5 km route follows most of the same trail but cuts off certain portions. Roughly 90% of the route is on trail. The route includes multiple switchbacks, changes in elevation, and varied scenery. The start and finish are located in the parking lot of the Trussville Senior Citizens Center. There are two aid stations, one near the halfway mark of the loop and one at the loop end/beginning. Trail shoes or hiking boots are recommended due to roots and rocks on the course.
Entries, bibs and awards
Packet pickup is available at the start/finish area on the morning of the race. Bib colors are assigned by distance: 5k bibs are white, 5 mile bibs are orange, and 10 mile bibs are black. All registrants receive a finishers medal. Awards are given to the 1st overall male and female in each distance and to 1st and 2nd male and female in each age division for each distance.
