RCC Run the Woods
RCC Run the Woods is a 4 mile cross-country trail event on November 7, 2026, at Goeldner Woods, 1715 137th St, Earlham, Iowa 50072, USA.
Course terrain is natural and varied. Runners will encounter mud, steep hills, creek crossings, water trenches, pasture sections with cow-pies, twisted roots, loose rock, leaf cover and hidden dips. The surface is uneven and requires attention to footing.
Distance options include:
- 4 Miles, individual entry
- 4 Miles, team of four runners
Registration opens June 30, 2026 and closes October 1, 2026. Entry fees listed are $45.00 for the individual 4 mile event and $180.00 for the team of four entry.
After the race there is a pull up challenge. For every completed pull up, 30 seconds will be subtracted from a competitor's final race time.
Food will be available after the finish. Iowa Machine Shed will serve beef stew and B-Bop’s will serve hot chili. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
