Ratoath AC Half Marathon 2026
The Ratoath AC Half Marathon takes place at Fairyhouse Racecourse in Ratoath. The event features a flat and fast course designed for participants focused on achieving personal best times. The route begins at the racecourse and concludes in front of the Fairyhouse Grandstand. This race is positioned as a preparation event for those training for autumn marathons.
The event consists of a single distance:

Due to traffic management regulations on the Fairyhouse Road, a race finish cut-off time of 3 hours is enforced. This measure is implemented for the safety of road users and stewards. Participants who fall significantly behind the field or sustain injuries may be transported by a race vehicle to the 11-mile mark, located inside the racecourse gates, to complete the final two miles of the course.
All entrants receive a medal upon completion. Event t-shirts are available as an optional purchase to assist in waste reduction efforts. The organizers maintain strict course rules; walking is not permitted, and bicycles are prohibited from pacing athletes.
Spectators are welcome to attend the event at the racecourse. However, the venue maintains a policy that prohibits dogs on the grounds, including within the parking areas.
