Rainbow Run 5k and Kids Fun Run (Jackson, MS)
The Rainbow Run 5k and Kids Fun Run is an annual event presented by MS Capital City Pride to celebrate diversity within the community. The event honors LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies while raising funds for LGBTQIA+ causes.
The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026. The course starts and stops at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church Park (4419 Broadmeadow Drive, Jackson, MS 39206) and runs through the Fondren neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi.

Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church and on race morning. Onsite registration is available and day-of registration is listed at $55.
MS Capital City Pride describes its mission as providing safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community, advocating for community needs, and creating opportunities to mentor emerging leaders in the Jackson metro area. The organization states a vision of building a visible, united, and equal community of people with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations. MS Capital City Pride is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) and contributions may be tax deductible.
