About the race
Rainbow Beach Trail Festival is Queensland's stunning trail-running event held at Phil Rogers Park, Rainbow Beach on the Cooloola Coast. Runners choose from three distances: 11km, half marathon (21km), and marathon. The course travels through spectacular landscapes—coloured sand cliffs, lush forests, perched lakes, rising dunes, beaches, and the historic lighthouse—combining single-track, fire roads, and beachfront sections.
The event emphasizes sustainability, including a no-cups policy at checkpoints and clear, reflective course markings. Spectators are welcome at the Start/Finish area, while support crews are limited to that zone. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
