Event overview
The Railway Marathon & Half Marathon presented by CraneWorks takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Fultondale, Alabama. The event is USATF certified (Boston qualifier) and is chip timed. The route uses the Five Mile Creek Greenway, a rails-to-trail project, and starts at Black Creek Park. The course runs through the cities of Fultondale, Gardendale, and Brookside and is described as relatively flat. The cut-off time for all events is six hours; this cut-off includes the 50K.

Logistics
Packet pick-up is available at The Trak Shak in Birmingham on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2839 18th Street South, Homewood, AL 35209. There is a limited packet pick-up option on race day by the finish line for those unable to pick up earlier. Aid along the course will include water, sports drinks, and gels only.
