Raiders Run & Summit Run
The Raiders Run and Summit Run take place during the Prince Albert Running Festival on October 17 and 18. The festival is presented by the Malcolm J. Jenkins Family Foundation and supports the Boreal Healthcare Foundation with its proceeds.
Event distances include:
- 2K family run on Saturday
- 5 KM community run on Saturday
- 10 KM race on Sunday
- 10 Mile race on Sunday
The Raiders Run offers opportunities to interact with Prince Albert Raiders players and includes Halloween candy for participants. Event swag differs by race: the Raiders Run includes a toque while the Summit Run includes a black sweatshirt. Race day package pick-up is handled at the Art Hauser Centre lobby.
A Weekend Warrior Challenge spans both days; it requires running the 5 KM on Saturday and the 10 KM on Sunday. Participants in this challenge receive both pieces of swag and two medals at the finish line. Entry for the Weekend Warrior Challenge is limited to 25 spots.
The Summit Run is presented by CBI Health and Oasis Mental Health. The information describes race distances, participant swag, on-site package pick-up location, a limited-capacity two-day challenge, and the donation of event proceeds to the Boreal Healthcare Foundation.
