Raid the Rock Adventure Race
Raid the Rock occurs in Little Rock, Central Arkansas on November 21, 2026. The event has been held since 2001 and is Arkansas's longest running adventure race.
There are two course options that require map-and-compass navigation and combine multiple disciplines. Each course includes mountain biking, trekking or running, canoeing or paddling, and rope elements when the location permits. Teams or solo racers must navigate the entire course.
Distances:
- 20 miles - 4 hour sprint course
- 50 miles - 12 hour full course
Racing divisions are available for 3- and 4-person teams, 2-person teams, and solo competitors. The 12 hour course has subdivisions for 3- and 4-person teams: Premier, Masters, and Open. The Premier and Masters subdivisions apply to 3-and-4-person co-ed teams only. To qualify for the Masters subdivision, every team member must be at least 45 years old.
Solo racers must be at least eighteen years old to enter the Solo Division and must submit a race resume to the race director before registering. The same course rules apply to solo racers as to team racers. Support crews are optional for both the 4 hour and 12 hour courses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
