Ragnar Trail Arizona
Ragnar Trail Arizona is a team trail relay held November 6 and 7, 2026 at McDowell Mountain Regional Park in Fort McDowell, Arizona. The event uses single track trails through a mountainous desert landscape with visible saguaro cactus silhouettes at sunset.
The full course covers 121 miles in total with each runner averaging 15.2 miles. The published elevation gain for the course is 265 feet. Weather at the event is described as mild, with typical temperatures from the mid 50s to the low 80s Fahrenheit.
Ragnar Village serves as the event basecamp at the park. While teammates rotate running, the village area includes a bonfire with s'mores, music, yoga sessions, partner prizes, and food trucks. Glamping accommodations are sold out and Rent-A-Tent options remain available. Each registered team receives items such as partner samples, a captain's gift, team medals, and team finisher shirts.
