Ragnar Road SoCal - San Diego to Huntington Beach
Ragnar Road SoCal is a road relay held April 9-10, 2027, that covers a coastal course from San Diego to Huntington Beach. The route totals 196 miles and passes through coastal towns such as La Jolla, Encinitas, and Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Average miles per runner range from 12.6 to 22.5.
The course offers coastal views, sections with higher elevation gain, and several organized exchange points. Major exchanges named in the event include NTC Park at Liberty Station and Torrey Pines Gliderport. The finish line is at Huntington State Beach, where teams can enter the Pacific after arriving.
Teams choose among three formats with included amenities and overnight arrangements:
- Standard Team: 12 runners, 2 days and 1 night, $1,850 ($154 per runner)
- Ultra Team: 6 runners, 2 days and 1 night, $1,200 ($200 per runner)
- Sprint Team: 5 runners, 1 day, $520 ($104 per runner)
Event amenities listed for each team include partner samples, a captain’s gift, team medals, and team finisher shirts. Weekend amenities at the finish include a beer garden and free pizza.
