Ragnar Road SoCal : April 9-10, 2027
Ragnar Road SoCal is a road relay running from San Diego to Huntington Beach covering a total of 196 miles along the Southern California coast. The course passes coastal towns such as La Jolla, Encinitas, and Cardiff-by-the-Sea and offers ocean views, palm trees, and surf-town scenery. The route includes sections with moderate elevation gain and some higher-gain segments.
Teams share the distance; average miles per runner range from 12.6 to 22.5. Major exchange points listed include NTC Park at Liberty Station (Exchange 6) and Torrey Pines Gliderport (Exchange 12). The start line is at Silver Strand State Beach and the finish is at Huntington State Beach, where organizers host a finish line party and teams can take a dip in the Pacific.
Three team formats and published prices are shown: Standard Team (12 runners, 2 days/1 night) $1,850 total ($154/runner); Ultra Team (6 runners, 2 days/1 night) $1,200 total ($200/runner); Sprint Team (5 runners, 1 day) $520 total ($104/runner). Listed prices are inclusive of registration fees. A price increase for the Standard Team is scheduled for May 29.
