Reach the Beach Relay
Reach the Beach Relay is a team road relay held September 17 to 18, 2027, that runs from the White Mountains to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. The route covers postcard New England scenery including the White Mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee and passes through a series of towns before finishing on the beach.
Teams run over a multi-day course totaling 200+ miles for the longest formats. Team options include:
- Standard: 12 person team (min 7) 36 legs 2 days 200+ miles
- Ultra: 6 person team (min 3) 36 legs 2 days 200+ miles
- Sprint: 6 person team (min 3) 12 legs 1 day 60+ miles
- Sprint Ultra: 3 person team (min 2) 12 legs 1 day 60+ miles

Community involvement and on-course support are part of the event. Many community groups have supported the relay for more than 20 years, and houses along the course set up aid stations with snacks, drinks, and signs.
