About the race
The 15th Annual Racing for Donation is a fundraising running and walking event in Jackson, Mississippi, held on Saturday, April 10, 2027, at The District at Eastover. The event raises awareness of the need for all Mississippians to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors.
Distances and options include:
- 8k Elite Run
- 5k Run
- 5k Walk
The event uses chip timing for the listed races and includes individual and team registration. Team entries require a minimum of four participants. Online registration closes on April 8, 2027, and same day registration is available on the morning of the event. Displayed prices include mandatory fees and may change by registration date. The event proceeds rain or shine.
Race bib and shirt pickup is available in person the day before the event at The District at Eastover. T shirts are guaranteed for the first 275 registrants.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers in the 5k walk and 5k run and to the top finishers in the 8k Elite Run. Age group awards for the 5k walk and the 5k run are provided for the following groups: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and older.
